Build Margins with In-store Cash Back from Rakuten

I’m supposed to be working on other stuff, but this is too good not to share. We used to build margins with discounted gift cards, but those margins shrunk so much that we no longer use them for the stores we source.
But here’s a new opportunity. Actually, it’s not new. I just finally got busy and implemented it!
Remember Ebates? It’s changed to Rakuten, and there are some serious benefits for RA shoppers!
Use the web interface or download the phone app. If you have shoppers you trust, tell them to download the app too and give them your login info. If you prefer to handle it yourself, you can do that too.
Add all the cards that will be used for inventory – Visa, Mastercard, and AmEx. If you have business cards instead of personal cards, each user will have a different number on their card so these will need to be added individually.
Now check the list of stores with In-Store Cashback offers. You should find that you can easily earn 2-5% cashback at many of the stores you already source just by linking the offers in a single click!
Note: Each offer will need to be relinked after you check out in store, or after 45 days. Offers come and go, and the percentage can change. It’s a great idea to check that it’s linked before checking out at the store.
We just had our first few transactions come through in near-real-time. I received an email notification for each, with the option to relink the offer in a single click so it was ready for the next use. Easy peasy!
Want to give it a try? Use our Rakuten link to get an extra $10 and we get some affiliate lovin’ too. If you already have an Ebates account, you’re good to go. Just log in and check it out!
What new ways have you found to build margins?

Great article…K&P. I started using Honey Smart Shopping Assistant as well they have these honey gold points that are very similar to Rakuten. Honey farms valid coupon codes as well and you sometimes they help. Who doesn’t want 1-8%% off from Walgreens?
