2. Set up our VA as a sub-user on your Amazon account:
Here is how to give our VA permission to access your account so we can begin requesting reimbursements from Amazon for you. You have a full month free of charge before your first payment is due, which should be enough time to see some reimbursements magically appear in your account and get paid out to you by Amazon!
Don’t worry – the instructions below will only allow the VA to view/edit the information necessary to complete the task.
- Go to Seller Central: Settings: User Permissions
- Where it says Enter Email Address of New User(s), enter assistant.78231@gmail.com.
- Click Send Invitation
After user has been accepted by us, you will need confirm again from your end, then edit the user to give certain necessary permissions. They won’t be able to see or change anything outside of these permissions which are necessary to find and request reimbursements.
To give our VA the permissions needed on your Amazon account:
- Go to Seller Central: Settings: User Permissions
- Click the button to Confirm the new user.
- Next to the VA username, click Edit. You will see a list of permissions.
- Here are the permissions the VA needs:
- Inventory: Manage FBA Inventory/Shipments (view & edit)
- Orders: Manage Orders (view)
- Reports: Fulfillment Reports (view)
- Reports: Payments (view & edit)
- Settings: Manage Your Cases (view & edit)
Click Continue to finish. You should see a Success message to confirm that you are done.
